Logging daily food intake
I mentioned a website in my previous blog. I tried to provide a link, but have been unsuccessful. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. However, it is called Livestrong.com and I hope you'll go there and take a look around. I was able to log every bite of food I ate as well as my exercise. I only saw a 1.4 lb. loss, but I feel better that I tried something different. I was disheartened that the weight loss wasn't more significant. I felt like I exerted a LOT of self control this week and hoped to see it reflect on the scale. I will have to see what happens this week. I will try to do the same thing and if the weight loss isn't more significant, I will need to re-evaluate. Perhaps my interpretation of my activity wasn't as accurate as it should be. I tried to be brutally honest, though. It is always best to keep with something a little while longer than to make a lot of changes and not have enough constant information to evaluate. I must admit to being a little discouraged, but I am praying and asking the Lord to help me to put my focus elsewhere.
